The second Sonic's boss "Egg Hornet" or sthlt... this is scene after you defeat it/him.
Interesting is that Tails didn't get, when Sonic is fighting Eggman/Robotnik, he should not walking happily with "inconspicuous" Chaos Emerald in his hands and smile on his face. Eggman "unexpectedly" took the Emerald, Sonic won't do anything and what?... Tails starts talking enthusiastically about how they need to stop Eggman and some other heroic wth... (Sonic: "Yeah thx very much for the updates...")
But I was dumbfounded about the Tails's suspiciously great mood.
